It operates as a nonprofit with a strong emphasis on community engagement, staff development, and patient empowerment. The center’s team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, mental health professionals, and specialists in family medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, podiatry, and psychiatric care, all committed to delivering coordinated, accessible, and compassionate care. As a Gold Level Advocacy Center of Excellence, Heartland actively works to influence policies that strengthen community health systems.
