The school evolved into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2015 and expanded its programs with a Toddler Room in 2017 and a Lower Elementary program in 2019. After relocating to its current site at 418 Mayo Street in 2021, the school developed outdoor learning spaces to enhance children’s connection with nature. Leadership has been guided by experienced educators, including Dawn Woodburn, who currently serves as Administrative Director and Head of School, continuing the school’s mission of cultivating joyful, self-directed learners.

The school is located on Mayo Street, situated within the Glen Elk neighborhood and just a short distance from Corridor D, North Side Playground, The Waldomore, and the Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library. It lies a brief walk from West Pike Street, a major road in the area, placing it at the heart of a well-connected residential community.
