The facility is housed in a stately mansion in downtown Charleston. The staff includes Natasha Stout, the Program Director, and Sam Kingston, the Program Coordinator. Mark Goldman, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, co-founded the recovery program in 1998 and contributed to developing group work and therapy. He has served the organization for nearly three decades and currently provides pro bono consultation. Kevin Jones serves as the Executive Director. The program's values center on the idea that people can change and that permanent change comes from within. It relies on respect and belief in the individual, as well as the power of group consensus and peer support to motivate positive change.
