The campground provides 155 RV and tent sites, each featuring a grass camping area and a level gravel pad, along with access to full hookups, drinking water, and WiFi. Guests can also choose from three unique rental units, making it convenient for those without a vehicle or seeking a more private stay. Amenities include a heated swimming pool open Memorial to Labor Day weekends, a stocked fishing pond, a playground, game room, laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, picnic tables, fire rings, and a convenience store. The campground hosts planned activities and offers a propane tank exchange, making it a well-rounded destination for summer and spring visits.

Rooted in a legacy of family values and Christian principles, Apple Creek Campground traces its origins to 1969 when Mary and Bob Egbert founded the property, then known as Happy Hollow Campground. In 1989, Bob and Sue Paral acquired the site, continuing its tradition of family-friendly hospitality. In 2023, the business was passed to their daughter, who had served as on-site manager for over 16 years, ensuring continuity and deep community ties. The campground remains a place where children can play and make friends, while parents find peace and rejuvenation.
