Olympia Dance Center

Olympia Dance Center is a dance studio in Olympia, Washington. The center provides high-quality dance training to students of all ages and abilities, offering a wide variety of disciplines including Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Flamenco, West African, Belly Dance, and Creative Dance. Founded in 1972 as the Johansen School of Ballet, the center has a long history of dance education in the region. The faculty includes Co-Artistic Directors Ken and Josie Johnson, who bring professional dance experience from prestigious institutions and companies. The center utilizes the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum to combine artistic training with dancer health and child development.

Located on Jefferson St SE, the studio is a short walk from the Olympia Post Office and Capitol Gateway Park. It is situated near the Natural Resources Building and the Regus government office.
