Owner Glenn Hartman founded the company in 2001 while working as a support counselor and coach in the Camas School District. He built the business through word-of-mouth referrals, treating each home as if it were their own. The team emphasizes thorough preparation to ensure longevity, which includes pressure washing to remove dirt and mildew, followed by sanding, scraping, caulking, and priming all necessary areas. This process is designed to prevent moisture intrusion and ensure proper paint adhesion. After spraying, brushing, and rolling the surfaces, the team conducts a final walk-through to address any questions and ensure satisfaction.

The business specializes in a five-day in-home cabinet painting process that transforms existing kitchens at a fraction of the cost of a total remodel. They have perfected this method over five years, constantly testing new materials and techniques to provide high-quality refinishing. Their experience extends to commercial buildings and educational institutions, where they prioritize punctual responses, safety, and attention to detail. Estimates are free and flexible based on materials and scheduling needs.

Customers highlight the company’s honesty, timeliness, and high-quality work. Reviews note that the team goes beyond simple painting, performing extensive cleaning, scraping, and repair work before applying finishing coats. Clients appreciate the reasonable and affordable pricing, as well as the friendly and informative nature of the crew. The business has completed hundreds of projects across East Clark County, including neighborhoods in Camas, Vancouver, Washougal, Battleground, Yacolt, Hawkinson, Salmon Creek, and Hazeldale.

Hartman & Sons Painting combines decades of local expertise with a hands-on approach to deliver reliable painting solutions for Camas residents and businesses.
