Crusberg Fence

Crusberg Fence is a Fence Company in Newport News, VA. The family-owned business builds custom wood, ornamental aluminum, and chain-link fences across York County and the wider Virginia Peninsula, serving communities from Yorktown and Tabb to Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, Williamsburg, and Gloucester. Keith Crusberg started in the trade more than 40 years ago, and today his twin sons, Clint and Cole, run the company. They are Virginia Class A licensed, bonded, and insured contractors. The business holds a 4.9-star rating across 70 verified Google reviews.

The company is owned and operated by Keith and his twin sons, who work as salesmen and superintendents. Keith began fencing at age 19 with Hatch Fence, contracted for Sears for about a decade, and managed operations for Hercules and Omega before founding Crusberg Fence twelve years ago. The crew measures runs in person, checks grades and access, and provides honest written estimates at no charge. They walk clients through material trade-offs, such as cedar versus pressure-treated pine, to help homeowners choose based on budget and style.

Crusberg Fence specializes in custom wood fences but also installs pool and safety fencing, gates, and commercial fencing. They handle removal, replacement, repair, and maintenance. The crew screws framework and gates rather than nailing them, setting posts two feet deep in concrete. Stock materials are often available same-day or next-day, while special orders take a few days. The company offers a 3% military discount and has donated fences to local families in need.

The business is known for its 4.9-star rating based on 70 customer reviews. It holds a Virginia Class A contractor license, DPOR #2705194192, and carries liability, workers’ compensation, and commercial auto coverage. The family sponsors Grafton Bethel Elementary and maintains a reputation for consistent quality and direct communication.

Crusberg Fence combines decades of local fencing expertise with a family-owned approach to serve homeowners and property managers across the Virginia Peninsula.
