Harrisonburg Dance Cooperative

Harrisonburg Dance Cooperative is a dance studio in Harrisonburg, VA, dedicated to adult dance education, creative expression, and community building. The group operates from the White Box Studio, a facility opened in 2023 featuring sprung flooring, natural light, high ceilings, and professional sound. The studio supports a wide range of activities, including bi-annual performances in October and April, First Friday showings, workshops, and community events, all rooted in accessibility and artistic growth.

The studio sits on North Main Street, just steps from Court Square, with the Rockingham County Courthouse about 67 meters away and The Courtyard park a short distance to the east. The Public Safety Building and Rockingham Harrisonburg Judicial Center are also nearby, anchoring the area’s civic presence.

As a nonprofit powered by community support and volunteer leadership, Harrisonburg Dance Cooperative continues to expand access to dance and movement arts, serving over 700 students annually and strengthening the cultural fabric of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.
