Joey and Jessica Gilbreath, both born and raised in Waxahachie, created the resort after recognizing a need for a quality pet care option in the community. Their careers in pet care began in high school when they took jobs at the Waxahachie Veterinary Clinic, which was founded by Joey’s father, Dr. Michael Gilbreath. Unsatisfied with concrete, warehouse-style kennels in the area, they envisioned a place where dogs and cats could be treated like family members. The resort offers private, comfortable accommodations complete with soft bedding, temperature-controlled surroundings, and soothing music. Cat boarding accommodations are set away from canine friends, featuring cozy bedding, perching areas, and natural sunlight.

The doggie daycare provides a safe, supervised environment with indoor and outdoor yards for exercise and socialization. The full-service dog grooming salon is staffed by experienced groomers who use the best products and equipment for complete styling, haircuts, trims, baths, and spa treatments. The dog training team helps dogs of all ages realize the obedience and manners needed to be family companions and offers free puppy socialization. A minimum two-night stay is required for boarding, and discounts apply to first-time customers only.
