Swamp Rabbit Brewery & Taproom is a brewery in Travelers Rest, SC, located at 26 S Main St. The family-owned business opened in March 2014, founded by Ben and Teresa Pierson. Ben Pierson brings extensive experience as a brewmaster, having worked at Downtown Brewing Company, Caesar's Head Brewery, and Greenman Brewing Co., as well as internships at D.L. Geary, Goose Island, and Kaltenburg Breweries in Germany. The couple’s venture began with a home brew kit in the early 1980s, fueled by Ben’s passion for the craft.

The taproom serves a diverse lineup of house-brewed beers, including India Pale Ale, Honey Bunny, Oktoberfest, Helles Belles, Swamp Rabbit Trail Pale Ale, Sir Vesa, and Pilsner. In addition to beer, the brewery offers wine, hard cider, hard seltzer, non-alcoholic beer, and CBD seltzers, along with snacks. The facility features parking behind the taproom, with additional free parking available at City Public Lots on Main Street, State Park Road, and Center Street, or at the Travelers Rest United Methodist Church.

The brewery received a Silver Award at the 2018 World Beer Cup for Feeling My Oats and a Silver Medal at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival for Numbskull. Locally, the business was voted "Best Local Brewery" in the Best of the Upstate in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and was named New Business of the Year by the Greenville Area Small Business Development Corporation in 2016.
