Project Encephalon

Project Encephalon is a Restaurant in Rock Hill, SC. This international, trainee-led non-profit organization serves neuroscience enthusiasts by conducting various academic and non-academic neuroscience-related activities. The organization caters to everyone, accounting for the interdisciplinary needs of the field.

The organization began as a small club on a messaging platform and has evolved into a global community. Project Encephalon brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, including psychology, psychiatry, neurology, bioinformatics, engineering, and computer science. The group operates through various departments, such as Administrative, Editorial, Design, Human Resources, Grants and New Initiatives, Marketing and Social Media, and External Affairs. Notable offerings include the NeuroNovember Convention, the NeuroPiction Series, and the Quest Series 'AskSAC' podcast. The organization also launched The Tales of Neuroscience book through The Mind Gala.

Project Encephalon is recognized for its commitment to inclusivity, providing a community where members can participate in activities regardless of their socioeconomic background, as there are no fees to join. The organization has demonstrated excellence in its field, having won the IndiaBioscience outreach grant twice.
