In addition to clinical practice, she serves as an Adjunct Professor to senior dental students from MUSC for the James D. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at Horry Georgetown Technical College, where they perform restorative procedures for indigent patients. She also acts as a Clinical Part-time instructor in the Dental Hygiene program at Horry-Georgetown Technical College, teaching Oral Pathology and Periodontics. Dr. Godbold-Machowski is a member of the American Dental Association, the SC Dental Association, and the Grand Strand Dental Society. She serves as the Membership Chairman and a Delegate for the SC Dental Association’s Pee Dee District, as Chairman of the Pierre Fouchard Society, and has been a Board Member for the SCDA Foundation since 2015.
