Offense-Defense Football Camps

Offense-Defense Football Camps is a Football Camp in Myrtle Beach, SC. The organization provides football training and instruction for youth and high school players, offering both non-contact and full-contact curricula. Their programs are designed for beginners and skilled athletes, focusing on teaching technique rather than tactics to improve stamina, speed, and agility. The coaching staff includes NFL players, college coaches, and professional instructors who evaluate athletes using a modified pro-style system. Participants engage in up to three games per day during summer sessions and may qualify for the annual O-D All-American Bowl. The camp utilizes Standardized Athletic Testing and a star ranking system to evaluate abilities locally and nationally. Athletes receive free access to an online profile to view their testing results, rankings, and coach recommendations. The organization has been helping athletes achieve their goals for over five decades, starting with an instructional camp in the summer of 1969.

The camp’s history features instruction from legendary athletes such as Ed “Too Tall” Jones, Gene Upshaw, and Roger Craig, as well as coaches like Mike Shanahan, Mike Holmgren, and Steve Mariucci. Over 600 alumni from the camps and the All-American Bowl have gone on to play in the NFL, with 28 of 32 NFL teams having active alumni. The program also hosts Team Tackle tournaments, which have been running for over fifty-five years and are recognized as the nation’s oldest full-contact and non-contact football camps and bowl games. These tournaments attract elite teams and ensure fair competition by holding no vested interest in outcomes. The organization supports the recruiting process by educating athletes on timelines and providing tools to build comprehensive football profiles for college exposure.

The camp is located at Myrtle Beach, SC.
