Myrtlebeachretreat

Myrtlebeachretreat is a retreat center in Myrtle Beach, SC, located at Myrtle Beach, SC. The business offers a four-hour guided journey that combines healing modalities such as Kundalini Yoga, cacao ceremonies, chakra cleansing gong meditation, cold plunges, sweat lodge sessions, and Wim Hof breathing. The experience is guided by a certified meditation teacher and practicing doctor of pharmacy. The approach pieces together different experiences to stimulate a participant's own puzzle of practices one piece at a time, emphasizing consistency and intuition over rigid rules.

The journey begins with a cacao ceremony to set intentions, followed by Wim Hof breathwork exercises that submerge participants deep inside themselves. This leads to a sweat lodge experience described as a Native American church and place of worship, where participants enter a 250-degree Fahrenheit environment. Inside, a kundalini yogic chakra cleansing meditation helps unblock and rebalance the body. After exiting the lodge, participants undergo a 34-degree freezing four-minute soak to overcome resistance and surrender into bliss. The process concludes with a return to the sweat lodge for a venik, a Russian exfoliating massage composed of oak leaves and branches, followed by a cold plunge, time in a jacuzzi, tea, and hookah tobacco.
