Will Halligan, MD, FACC, is originally from Spartanburg, SC. He graduated from Wofford College, also in Spartanburg, and attended the Medical University of SC in Charleston for medical school. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and returned to MUSC for his cardiology fellowship training. Dr. Halligan is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He is a non-invasive cardiologist and sees patients with a wide variety of cardiovascular diseases. He has a special interest in health care quality improvement and patient safety. It is for this reason that he earned a master’s degree in business administration while in medical school. Halligan is excited to be back in the Upstate practicing cardiology. He is looking forward to building life-long relationships with patients in the area.
