Langston Charter Middle School

Langston Charter Middle School is a charter school in Greenville, SC. Serving students in grades 6, 7, and 8, the school provides a single-gender educational environment focused on focus, rigor, and leadership. As a public school within the Greenville County School District, there are no academic requirements for enrollment, and no tuition is required for students residing within the state of SC.

Founded in 2005, the school utilizes a collaborative approach involving teachers, parents, and the community to foster personal responsibility and academic success. The faculty is composed of state-certified educators, many of whom hold advanced degrees, including doctorates. Students have the opportunity to earn up to four high school credits by the conclusion of 8th grade. Because the school historically receives more applications than available openings, students are admitted through a lottery process in accordance with SC charter school law.
