Greenville Dental Assistant School

Greenville Dental Assistant School is a dental school in Greenville, SC. The school offers a 12-week accelerated program that trains students to become dental assistants through a partnership between Zollege and local dental offices. Classes are held on-site at Downtown Dental, where students learn on actual equipment in a working dental office setting. The curriculum combines online preparation with in-person labs, beginning with lectures and discussions before moving to hands-on skill development. Instruction covers fundamental clinical and administrative duties, including assisting dentists during procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking molds and impressions, performing x-rays, and managing front office tasks. The program was founded in 2010 by Dr. Thomas Ince, a dentist who created the school to address a shortage of well-trained dental assistants. Dr. Ince collaborated with his brother Ryan, a physician, to develop a medical assistant program using the same accelerated, in-office approach. The school does not accept financial aid. Students may also pay by check, which must be sent two weeks before the start date with a tracking number provided to the admissions team. The admissions staff is available to help students determine if the program is the right fit. Greenville Dental Assistant School is located at 794 E Washington St in Greenville, SC. The school provides an affordable path to a healthcare career, allowing students to pay for training without taking out student loans. The 12-week structure is designed to prepare graduates for immediate employment in the dental field.

Located at 794 E Washington St in Greenville, SC, the school sits near Memorial Patio and Pettigru Street Historic District, both about a tenth of a mile away.
