Michael J & Mary Meech MUNGO PARK is a public park in Columbia, SC. The park features 118.4 acres of land, including greenspace and approximately four miles of walking trails that follow former cart paths.
The park is situated on the site of the former Rawls Creek Golf Course and was donated to the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission by the Mungo Family in 2018. The property, which was originally established in 1971 as the Coldstream Country Club, includes the Meech House. This renovated facility serves as a meeting space available for rental for weddings, social gatherings, corporate retreats, and business meetings.
The park is located off Lake Murray Blvd, approximately one mile south of Irmo.
