Dance South

Dance South is a non‑profit organization in Columbia, SC. The studio offers dance instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, hip‑hop, contemporary, lyrical and clogging for both recreational and competitive participants. With more than three decades of experience, it serves students throughout the Columbia area and has earned a 3.80 rating from 40 reviewers.

Founded in the fall of 1989 by studio owner Nena Maniscalco as the sole after‑school activity at Inverness Elementary, the organization has grown into a professional facility that now celebrates over 36 years of providing instruction for beginner, intermediate and advanced dancers. Classes are taught by a faculty that covers ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, hip‑hop, acro, clogging and adult fitness formats.
