Skin Shaman

Skin Shaman is a Facial Studio in Charleston, SC. The studio offers corrective facials and skincare treatments informed by individual skin biology. Founder Tamara Fitzner guides the practice with nearly 30 years of clinical and luxury-esthetics experience. Services include ritual facials, structural treatments, metabolic peels, and brow design. The studio also provides botanical body care and precision waxing. Skin Shaman is located within Sôlt Wellness.

The practice focuses on barrier health, collagen support, and long-term skin quality as the skin changes with age. Treatments are designed to work with the skin's natural renewal rhythm to support resilience and visible improvement over time. Offerings include grounding, restorative facial care for regulation and maintenance, and corrective care to support lift and structural integrity. The studio is the exclusive DNA Skin Institute practitioner in Charleston.

A full-body exfoliation treatment uses ancient Chinese herbal grain granules that sweep away dull surface cells and then melt to release natural alpha hydroxy acids. This process supports circulation, stimulates lymphatic movement, and refines texture. The treatment includes scalp work and foot compressions, with an optional cooling enzyme scalp upgrade using pumpkin enzyme and hyaluronic acid.

Skin Shaman is located at 137A President St, Charleston, SC 29403.

The studio sits on President Street just steps from Septima P. Clark Parkway and Septima P. Clark Memorial Park. It is also within walking distance of The Parsonage and Spring Street.
