Dr. Bradley is a native of Palo Alto, California, who graduated from Harvard University in 1980 and Harvard Medical School in 1985. He completed postgraduate training in general surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and spent two years as a research fellow in fetal and cardiovascular surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. His cardiothoracic surgical training was completed at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he also finished a fellowship in pediatric cardiac surgery under Dr. Edward Bove. Since joining the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in 1995, he has focused on pediatric and congenital heart surgery. His clinical interests include staged surgical palliation for single ventricle heart defects, the Norwood procedure for hypoplastic left heart syndrome, neonatal and infant heart surgery, surgery of the aortic arch, tetralogy of Fallot, the Ross procedure, and aortic and mitral valve repair. He works within the Children's Heart Center of SC, a statewide network of pediatric cardiologists that provides coordinated care for congenital heart patients.
