Catholic Diocese of Charleston

Catholic Diocese of Charleston is a religious organization in Charleston, SC. Serving the entire state of SC, the diocese oversees a vast territory that includes 95 parishes, 21 missions, and 32 diocesan schools, including five high schools. The organization provides various ministries and programs, including youth protection services, adult education, and resources for clergy, teachers, and parish staff.

Established on July 11, 1820, by Pope Pius VII, this institution is the seventh oldest Roman Catholic diocese in the United States.
