He redeployed to the Middle East during the initial occupation of Iraq, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. He served in Team 4, Harbor Patrol, and Team 2 before retiring from the CPD in July 2020.

Marc began working with 843 Let’s Drive in August 2020 and started his own driving school west of the Ashley a year later. He is a Certified Driving Instructor and third-party tester through the SCDMV, certified in First Aid and CPR, and undergoes extensive yearly background checks. He brings 25 years of combined law enforcement and military leadership experience to his instruction, aiming to build student confidence through hands-on training.
