Red Fox Escapes is an Escape Room in Cambridge, MA, located at 614 Massachusetts Ave. The business offers private, immersive puzzle games designed for adults and families, including The Shadow Girl Scout Troop, The Heist, and The U-Boat. Co-founders Nico and Marie, who have professional backgrounds in science and technology, created the games to stimulate creative thinking and build strong bonds. Their approach began on their second date, when they spent five hours picking locks while drinking Argentinian Malbec. The Heist challenges players to steal a priceless diamond from a Back Bay art gallery, while The U-Boat tasks teams with retrieving Enigma code books from a sinking German submarine in 1941. The Shadow Girl Scout Troop invites players to join a secret society, though it contains a gory prop in the second half and is not well suited for larger groups of children aged 13 and younger. All games are private, meaning no other players join the group. Players under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. The venue received the “Best Puzzle Master 2020” award for design and the “Best In-Person Escape 2020” award for The U-Boat room.

Red Fox Escapes stands out in Cambridge for its high-quality, private escape experiences that blend storytelling with challenging puzzles. The perfect rating and industry awards highlight the success of Nico and Marie’s mission to create unforgettable adventures for puzzle lovers.
