The installation process is detailed and methodical, often completed in a single day, though some projects take two. Before digging begins, the team confirms the room layout, verifies code requirements such as the 5.7 square foot clear opening minimum and 44-inch sill height limit, designs the window well for compliance, and plans drainage for rain and runoff. They handle all permit applications and inspection scheduling in most Ohio jurisdictions. On installation day, the crew protects the home with drop cloths and plastic sheeting to contain dust from foundation cutting. They excavate to the foundation wall, cut the concrete or block wall with precision equipment, and install structural headers or lintels if needed. The egress window is set, leveled, fastened, and sealed to prevent future water problems.

Evolve Egress & Exteriors is known for its high customer rating of 4.80. Their reputation is built on two decades of service and skilled craftsmanship by their team of masons and installers. This dedication to quality work and customer care makes them a trusted choice for Ohio homeowners seeking safer, brighter basements.
