The firm originated from a 1990s collaboration between film producer Abdelhay Elanbassi and interior designer Mike Cohen. Over time it supplied the film, TV, photography, commercial, staging and event‑planning communities with authentic Moroccan‑themed settings. From a 2,000‑square‑foot warehouse in Marrakech, the company expanded to showrooms in New York and San Francisco, now offering three locations stocked with distinctive furniture, lighting, rugs, tents and fabrics. With a blend of production‑management sensibility and interior‑design creativity, the team works with any budget from concept through implementation.

Moroccan Furniture Rental is located on West 87th St. The showroom sits just steps from West 87th Street Garden and is about a tenth of a mile from both West 86th St and Columbus Avenue. It is also roughly a tenth of a mile from the Goddard Riverside community center, the Dwight School Performing Arts Center and the Soccer Stars sports center.

Customers recognize the business for its solid reputation among the clients it has served.

That reputation makes Moroccan Furniture Rental a trusted source for authentic Moroccan‑style party rentals in New York.
