Quality Meats was established in 2006 as the first restaurant from Michael Stillman, whose father, Alan Stillman, founded famed steakhouse brand Smith & Wollensky. Quality Meats was the first of its kind: a modern steakhouse with industrial design, positioned squarely in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Designed by AvroKO, the restaurant features exposed concrete, raw ceilings, Edison bulbs, and other features that had previously never been north of 14th Street.
