Mainstream Dance Academy

Mainstream Dance Academy is a dance studio in Mount Laurel, NJ. The academy provides dance lessons to children ages 2.5 through 18, offering a diverse range of classes including ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, and jazz. The studio holds a 5.00 rating.

Founded in 2015 by NJ native and former professional dancer Julie Plummer, the academy focuses on technical training while ensuring dancers feel nurtured and inspired. The studio offers various programs, including summer camps and a competition team with specialized paths such as the Mini Path for ages 5-7, the Core Path, the Pre-Professional Path, and the Elite Path for high schoolers. The faculty includes instructors specializing in jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, lyrical, ballet, and classes for dancers aged 3-8.

The studio is located on Ark Rd, near Fostertown Road and Marne Highway. It is a short drive from Larchmont Elementary School and Fleetwood Elementary School.

The academy is recognized for its excellence, having been a top three finalist in the Best of Burlington County Contest consecutively since 2020. The studio's success is further evidenced by its 2022 National Championship in the 13 and Over Division for Hip Hop at the Dancers Inc National Competition.
