iFixOmaha Cass Court

iFixOmaha Cass Court is a cell phone repair shop in Omaha, Nebraska, specializing in fixing smartphones, tablets, and laptops for individuals across the metro area. The business served customers with a focus on honesty, speed, and reliability, aiming to save people time and money. Over its lifespan, it operated from multiple locations throughout Omaha, including Papillion, Orchard West, Southwestern Plaza, Eagle Run Square, WestPoint, the UNO campus, and its final location on Cass Street. It was recognized as Best Smartphone Repair in Omaha for every year from 2017 to 2025 and received the Greater Omaha Chamber Business Excellence Award for Innovation in 2024. The shop was a pioneering member of Apple’s Independent Repair Provider program and among the first independent repair brands in the country to have technicians certified through CTIA WISE. It also partnered with Metropolitan Community College to create the first postsecondary credentialed training program in mobile device repair in the nation and launched Reboot Central, a public repair service desk at MCC’s Fort Omaha campus.

The business was founded in 2011 in a basement with a single workbench and a belief that devices people already own are worth saving. It grew into a network of neighborhood storefronts and became a community anchor, supporting students, teachers, healthcare workers, contractors, and others. It advocated for consumer rights by testifying before the Nebraska legislature on Right to Repair legislation. The team trained hundreds of technicians and worked to make device repair accessible and sustainable. After 15 years of service, iFixOmaha closed its doors in 2026, with its legacy continuing through LifeSaver Tech Repair, founded by former general manager Wisdom Ahligo, and Reboot Central at Metropolitan Community College.

Located on Cass Street, the shop was situated about a mile from Dodge Street and West Dodge Road, near Roberts Park and Cole Creek, with Rose Blumkin Drive a short distance away. The business was known for its strong community ties, technical expertise, and commitment to sustainable repair. Its reputation was built on consistent service, innovation, and advocacy, making it a trusted name in Omaha’s tech repair landscape.
