Aikido of Charlotte

Aikido of Charlotte is a martial arts school in Huntersville, NC, dedicated to teaching traditional Aikido as established by its founder, Morihei Ueshiba (O’Sensei). As the largest Aikido dojo in Charlotte, it serves students of all ages and experience levels, offering daily classes, self-defense workshops, and specialized training for law enforcement. With a 72-tatami mat space and a 1,600 sq. ft sprung floor system, the facility is designed for safe, effective training and welcomes visitors to observe or participate through an open mat policy. It is a member of the United States Aikido Federation (USAF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that upholds international standards in Aikido practice and ranking.

The dojo operates as a stand-alone, air-conditioned facility located at 10230 Hickorywood Hill Ave, Suite A, in Huntersville.
