Courtney has worked in home health, teletherapy, autism clinics, and private practices, focusing on expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic language disorders, developmental delays, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Kari Burley joined in March 2024, holding a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with Minors in Psychology and Linguistics from Ohio University in 2011 and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Kent State University in 2013. Kari has experience in pediatric home health, outpatient hospitals, and autism clinics.

Evaluations consist of one-hour sessions using standardized and non-standardized testing. Following testing, the therapist counsels the family and completes a formal written evaluation submitted to the patient’s primary care physician, which serves as a prescription for services for six months. Progress reports are completed every six months, and re-evaluations are performed yearly. Therapy sessions last thirty minutes and begin once the signed prescription is obtained and insurance approval is secured. The practice handles all necessary paperwork and requests physician signatures on behalf of patients. Therapy can be conducted in the clinic or at an ABA facility.
