At Peace Pets

At Peace Pets is a veterinarian in O'Fallon, Missouri, providing in-home pet euthanasia services to the St. Louis area. The practice focuses on dogs and cats, offering families the option of a private, familiar setting for a difficult decision rather than a clinic visit. Appointments can be scheduled by phone, and the practice also answers questions from pet owners who are weighing the choice.

The practice is led by Dr. Farthing, who graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Since then, Dr. Farthing has worked with dogs, horses, cats, cattle, pocket pets, and many other species across 21 years of general practice. That work has included caring for healthy pets and treating sick and injured animals, and it was the many euthanasia cases encountered along the way that led Dr. Farthing to devote more time to guiding people through the process of putting a pet to sleep.

At Peace Pets was started with a specific mission: to give those facing the loss of a beloved companion the option of a private, comfortable, peaceful, in-home euthanasia experience. The practice describes its aim as providing dignity and peace in a time of need, and it emphasizes a private, familiar environment - the home - as the setting for that care.

The practice holds a rating of 4.80 from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting the regard of the families it has served.

For families in O'Fallon and across the St. Louis area, At Peace Pets brings end-of-life veterinary care for dogs and cats into the home, where the pet is most at ease.
