Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with evening and weekend appointments available upon request. The audiology team conducts thorough hearing evaluations using tools such as otoscopes and video otoscopes to examine the ear canal and eardrum. They perform tympanometry to test middle ear condition and mobility, and use low and high frequency tones to determine the degree and type of hearing loss. Results are recorded on an audiogram, which reflects hearing loss in frequencies and decibels.

The staff programs hearing instruments based on test results and individual preferences, fine-tuning them for difficult listening situations like restaurants and crowds. Follow-up visits allow for adjustments to ensure optimal sound quality and physical comfort. The practice also manages tinnitus, a condition involving ringing, rushing, or buzzing in the ears, by reviewing health history and conducting audiometric testing to identify appropriate treatments. They safely remove impacted earwax and provide hearing protection devices for workers exposed to hazardous noise levels, including law enforcement officers and hunters.
