The Studio of Dance

The Studio of Dance is a dance studio in Montgomery Village, MD. The studio provides fun and creative classes for all ages, from three to 103, serving the local community with a focus on positive self-expression. With a 4.60 rating, the studio offers instruction designed to build strength, agility, and poise through a balanced environment of fun and discipline.

The studio features two dance spaces equipped with professional floating floors to reduce fatigue and prevent injuries. Students are placed in classes based on their age and ability level, with age-appropriate music and costuming provided for recitals. Under the direction of Owner and Artistic Director Karen Conner, who has been teaching in Montgomery County since 1990, the faculty maintains high standards by attending regular dance conventions and workshops. The curriculum is designed to foster self-confidence, teamwork, and self-discipline.

Located on Wightman Rd, the studio is situated near North Creek and a short drive from Ets Chiyim School, Mother of God School, and William Hurley Park.
