Porta Construction Inc

Porta Construction Inc is a construction company in Ellicott City, MD. The firm handles residential renovation work, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, screened-in porches, additions, garages, and exterior renovation projects. Founded over 35 years ago, the company began in residential concrete construction and grew into full interior and exterior home renovation services. It is a family-owned small business now led by second generation owner Zak Porta and his crew.

Porta Construction takes on projects ranging from minor add-ons to full in-law suites and builds garages from 200 to 1,600 square feet. The team works on exterior projects that add usable outdoor square footage and on interior renovations that reshape how a home functions day to day. The business is built around a process that starts with a client consultation, moves through design and construction with a crew of skilled craftsmen, and ends with a finished space meant to add value and enjoyment to the home. Quality work, an affordable price, and a reasonable timeframe are the standards the company sets for each job, with client satisfaction kept as the top priority throughout.

The office sits along Baltimore National Pike, with Frederick Road about a quarter mile away. Kiwanis-Wallas Park is roughly a third of a mile from the address, and Centennial Medical Group is about three quarters of a mile away. The Pine Orchard neighborhood and Young School are both within roughly eight tenths of a mile.

Porta Construction holds a rating of 4.90, reflecting positive feedback from the customers who have reviewed the company.

Three and a half decades of residential work in the Ellicott City area, now carried forward by a second generation, give Porta Construction a depth of experience that few other renovation firms in the region can match.
