Team Randori Martial Arts of Annapolis

Team Randori Martial Arts of Annapolis is a martial arts school in Annapolis, MD, focused on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, self-defense, grappling, and martial arts classes. The school serves adults and beginners across Annapolis, Edgewater, Davidsonville, and Arnold, holding a 4.90 rating from its customers.

The academy runs under a clear mission of building better people through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, equipping students to grow, lead, and teach both on the mat and in daily life. All classes are led by Black Belt instructors registered with the IBJJF and held to recognized standards of professionalism and safety. The school operates with no contracts and limited memberships, offering a 30-day trial and a 5-day trial for new students. Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions teach leverage-based self-defense, using chokeholds, joint locks, and body positioning so a smaller practitioner can control a larger opponent, while also building fitness, sharper decision-making under pressure, and visible progress through stripes and belt promotions. Adult Beginner classes start students with no prior experience, covering fundamental techniques in a supportive, non-competitive, safety-first environment. The school also runs a Ladies-Only Beginner Jiu-Jitsu program, teaching women the same fundamentals - leverage, escapes, body positioning, and submissions - in a women-only setting designed to build practical self-defense skills and confidence.

The academy sits on West Street, just off West Street itself and about a third of a mile from Old Solomons Island Road and the Solomons Island Road highway corridor, with M60 roughly 0.3 miles away.

The school's 4.90 rating reflects the experience its customers have had with its instruction. With IBJJF-registered Black Belt instructors, a structured beginner pathway, and dedicated programs for women, Team Randori Martial Arts of Annapolis stands as a focused Jiu-Jitsu academy serving Annapolis and the surrounding communities.
