Owner and trainer Alicia Lambert has worked in the animal care industry for 12 years. She is a Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. Lambert uses a play-based, balanced approach that fulfills a dog’s biological needs through hiking, problem-solving, and species-appropriate enrichment. Private one-on-one sessions are conducted in the home or at agreed-upon locations such as parks or shopping plazas. These sessions are tailored to the dog’s state of mind and environmental stability. The board-and-train program is offered in 2-6 week increments. Dogs live in a home environment rather than a kennel, participating in structured training and outdoor adventures like guided hikes and recall work. This method helps dogs make calm, confident choices in various settings. Overnight adventure boarding is available for already trained dogs, featuring supervised social time, outdoor exploration, and quiet downtime. Clients receive daily updates with photos and videos during boarding. Reviewers highlight Lambert’s patience, her ability to curb rough play, and her success in building confidence in rescue dogs through muzzle training and social pairing. The positive rating reflects customer satisfaction with the trainer’s clear communication and ability to help owners follow through with training at home. Into The Woods Canine combines specialized canine education with hands-on care, offering Norwell-area pet owners a resource for resolving behavioral issues and strengthening the bond between dog and owner.
