The professional staff at Tail Waggerz aims to meet each individual dog’s needs, energy level, size, age, and temperament. All overnight guests are provided with warm beds, blankets, and human company during their stay. To ensure safety and comfort, the business requires a minimum of three full days of daycare and a potential boarding evaluation before considering a dog for boarding eligibility. They do not allow dogs to be evaluated and then boarded the next night, preferring that dogs be very comfortable and familiar with the environment prior to staying overnight.

For grooming, the professional groomers strive to meet each customer’s preferences while being sensitive and caring towards the safety, comfort, and any special needs of their canine guests. They accommodate non-typical dietary needs, though they do not allow customers to bring Tupperware for food storage. Weekday pickups are available until 7:00 p.m., and weekend pickups are between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. If a customer is unable to pick up their dog from daycare, the staff will provide dinner and a warm bed, with overnight staff on duty to ensure the dog is never left alone.

Customers consistently praise the staff for their reliability, communication, and genuine love for dogs. Reviews highlight that dogs return happy, exhausted, and well-groomed, with some noting they prefer the daycare experience to being at home. The business is recognized for its flexible approach, having accommodated emergency overnight stays for customers who could not pick up their pets on time. The positive rating reflects the trust owners place in the team to care for their pets with mindfulness and care.

Tail Waggerz combines attentive, cage-free care with professional grooming services, making it a trusted choice for pet owners in Newton and the surrounding area who value safety, comfort, and personalized attention for their dogs.
