Theatre School of Dance

Theatre School of Dance is a dance studio in Bossier City, Louisiana. The studio offers classical ballet, tap, and jazz with guided plans of progression, as well as adult Pilates classes focused on core strength and general fitness. The studio's history began in 1962 when Marion Mills established the school as the first performing arts institution in North Louisiana to partner with the Royal Academy of Dance. Following extensive training in Europe, Mrs. Mills implemented high standards of excellence that allowed the program to grow. The studio continues to utilize the Royal Academy of Dance method for all ballet levels. In addition to technical training, the school features the Adorare Performing Arts Company and hosts seasonal productions, such as "A Christmas Carol," at The Strand Theatre.

Located on Viking Drive, the studio is a short drive from the Joseph D. Waggonner Jr. Memorial Highway and is approximately one mile from the Red River Behavioral Center, the Bossier Parish School for Technology & Innovative Learning, and Shed Road Park.
