Cypress-black Bayou Rec Area

Cypress-black Bayou Rec Area is a recreation area in Benton, Louisiana. The area features two primary bodies of water: Cypress Lake, which spans 3,300 acres, and Black Bayou, which encompasses 800 acres. The recreation park itself comprises 450 acres and provides amenities such as picnic shelters and BBQ pits for public use. Because the nature center is part of the Bossier Parish School system, the entire park is maintained as a drug-free and gun-free school zone.

The park is located on Cypress Park Dr, situated about 0.4 miles from the Cypress Bayou Reservoir and a short drive from Black Bayou.
