Student Health Services

Student Health Services is a medical clinic in Richmond, Kentucky. Serving all students enrolled in classes at Eastern Kentucky University, the clinic focuses on promoting mental and physical wellbeing through disease prevention strategies and acute care for illnesses.

The clinic's mission is centered on the belief that students are better equipped for academic success when they are physically and mentally healthy. Services provided to the student body include the evaluation and treatment of illnesses and injuries, physicals, and mental health services. The facility offers rapid testing for various conditions, including flu, strep throat, COVID-19, mononucleosis, UTI, anemia, and blood sugar. Additionally, the clinic provides gynecologic services such as contraception, pregnancy testing, pap smears, and menstrual health, as well as allergy injections, TB skin testing, and the evaluation and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. Laboratory services are also available as determined by healthcare providers.

Located in the Rowlett Building on Lancaster Avenue, the clinic is situated near the Crabbe Library and is a short walk from The Ravine and Irvine McDowell City Park.
