Founded in 2004 by a group of friends who wanted a place to train jiu‑jitsu and share the art with the Manhattan community, Combative Sports Center has grown into a hub for both mental and physical development through combative sports. Members train alongside competing athletes, including decorated professional fighters and amateurs who compete in organizations such as Victory Fighting Championship, Strikeforce, Bellator, the UFC and Titan Fighting Championship. Instruction is led by more than 15 black‑belt BJJ practitioners and a former UFC fighter, ensuring high‑quality coaching across all offered disciplines.
