The building, originally erected by the Terre Haute Brewing Company in 1890, typifies turn-of-the-century stable architecture with brick and poplar construction. When restoration began in 1998, an on-site wood shop was constructed to recreate natural-looking horse stalls. The interior features original solid poplar beams spanning 40 feet, an original wood ceiling, and a solid oak front and back bar from the Homestead Tavern in Centenary, Indiana, circa 1900. The dining room contains brass chandeliers from the former downtown Elks Lodge and stained glass from Central Christian Church. A temperature-controlled wine cellar made of early window sashes is stocked with over 90 varieties of domestic and imported wines.

The second level, once a hay mow, was uncovered during restoration after decades of being unseen. Owners found artifacts including an oak barrel of oats, a Champagne-Velvet beer bottle, and a Union army uniform. The space features a grand staircase and original solid poplar beams, ceiling, and floor. The rear two-thirds of this level serves as a banquet hall seating 30 to 160 guests for business dinners, weddings, and holiday parties. Amenities include a fully stocked bar, internet access, audio-visual aids, and a dance floor. Parking is available on the South and East sides of the restaurant.
