The company’s history includes a unique tradition regarding its signage. A local sign company, Dettmer Sign, created the original sign with capital letters. In the early 1980s, a windstorm caused the "ONEILS" side to fall. Jack O'Neil called his friend, Mr. Dettmer, to rehang it. As a practical joke, Dettmer hung the sign upside down. Customers and passersby enjoyed the humor, so Jack eventually asked for the "GLASS" side to be turned upside down to match. All signs have been upside down ever since.

The business holds a 4.60 rating based on customer reviews. Clients praise the knowledgeable and professional staff, noting thorough service, quality communication, and outstanding follow-up. Testimonials highlight quick turnarounds for replacements, reasonable pricing, and flawless installation processes.
