Excel Driving School Yorkville

Excel Driving School Yorkville is a driving school in Yorkville, IL, serving teen and adult learners across the western and southwestern suburbs of Chicago. The school is part of a family-owned business operating under the Excel name, providing driver's education with an up-to-date curriculum that extends beyond Illinois state minimum requirements, classroom instruction at convenient locations, flexible scheduling, behind-the-wheel training in a maintained fleet of cars, and customizable course packages for first-time drivers, returning students, and those who feel uneasy about getting behind the wheel.

The school has been operating since 1985 under the Excel Driving School name, building a 35-year track record in the region. Classes are led by certified instructors who complete a thorough background check and a rigorous internal training course before teaching. The curriculum covers safe, defensive, and courteous driving, with a stated aim of graduating students who are well-grounded stewards of everyday roadways. Beyond the standard Illinois required basics, courses are designed to suit different learner needs through customizable packages selected via an online package wizard. Excel runs multiple classroom sites throughout the region, and each location is placed near a high school to make attendance easier for students and to cut down on driving time for busy parents.

The Yorkville location sits on East Countryside Parkway, about 70 metres from Parkview Christian Academy Upper Campus and a short distance from North Bridge Street. East Veterans Parkway and West Veterans Parkway run nearby, and Countryside Pavilion Park and the Countryside Center neighborhood are both within roughly half a mile of the school.

Excel Driving School has served Illinois families with driver's education for 35 years, holding a long regional presence as a multi-location family business with certified instructors and a curriculum that exceeds the state's required basics.
