Dr. Roberta Noonan founded the family-owned center in 1963, opening the first location in Alsip, Illinois. Her vision was a warm, safe environment where children grow through play, exploration, and discovery. Under the leadership of Lori Beasley and Tara Heilmann, the organization has grown to include six locations across the southwest suburbs of Chicago: Frankfort, Homer Glen, Lockport, Alsip/Worth, Palos Hills, and Tinley Park. The centers serve families with children from 15 months old through kindergarten.

Programs include daycare, preschool, toddlers, nursery (2-year-olds), juniors (3-year-olds), pre-K, kindergarten, and summer camp. The structured, multi-dimensional curriculum aligns with Illinois Early Learning Standards and blends structured learning with creative play. A multi-sensory approach features hands-on activities in language arts, math, science, art, motor skills, and music to build confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate and tailored to support various learning styles and abilities.

All staff members meet or exceed state licensing requirements and undergo thorough background checks. They are highly qualified in early childhood education, and it is not unusual for employees to have worked with children for more than 20 years. The centers emphasize individualized learning and maintain parent partnerships through progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, and engaging events like holiday musicals and open classroom visits. Core values include integrity, respect, quality, and commitment. The centers also participate in the Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), which helps eligible families afford child care by providing financial support based on state income and family size guidelines.
