The winery was originally established in 2002 by Joe and Dawn Taylor, who planted the first 700 vines on a 39-acre property. Over time, the vineyard matured into a thriving operation, and in 2016 it was acquired by Erik Plotner and Janette Figueroa, who expanded the property by adding the Dragonfly venue for weddings and large events. The team includes about ten employees and a volunteer group known as the Purple Finger Club, which supports events and operations. The rustic wood timber frame barn and surrounding grounds serve as the heart of the experience, blending wine production with entertainment and hospitality.
