Wanting to create a dedicated learning space, the founders purchased and renovated a historic building in Hanover Park’s Historical District, reopening in 1995. Today, the studio has 15 degreed faculty members and serves over 350 private students per week. The academy provides a full range of music instruction in piano, organ, keyboards, flute, voice, guitar, ukulele, drums, percussion, string instruments, and brass instruments. Instructors provide patient, one-on-one guidance in a warm, supportive atmosphere. Students have opportunities to perform in recitals and local competitions throughout the year to build confidence and celebrate progress. The visual arts program began in 1997 with the founding of the Ontarioville Art Center next door. Over time, the art program flourished, offering drawing, watercolor, pastels, charcoal, and clay to students of all skill levels. In 2023, music and art officially merged under one roof to form A & A Music & Art Academy. Group art classes are designed for students ages 8 and up, featuring small class sizes and flexible daytime, evening, and weekend options to allow students to learn at their own pace. The academy also provides professional piano tuning and repair services to the community.

The academy was recognized as the 2025 winner of Best Music School in DuPage County by Google Business Rate and received the Hanover Park 2025 Business of the Year award.
