Red Shoes Billiards

Red Shoes Billiards is a billiards hall in Alsip, IL. The hall offers pocket billiards on tables covered with Simonis #860 HR cloth, the same Belgian-made cloth used by serious players around the world. It operates 365 days a year, with hours running from 10am to 2am and a bar and grill that stays open late. Pool leagues, video poker, and a full bar and kitchen round out the setup. Food is limited to pizza and snacks, including 12-inch sausage pizza and cheese pizza, along with soft drinks and candy. A pro shop on the premises handles cue repair, including while-you-wait tip replacement, new ferrule installation, ferrule repair, and re-wraps, and stocks both custom hand-made and production cues. The hall draws nationally ranked players and hosts serious one-pocket, banks, and straight pool competition. The hall sits on South Pulaski Road, about a tenth of a mile from the Alsip-Merrionette Park Library and roughly a third of a mile from Progress Park and Stony Creek. Hamlin Upper Grade Center School and the Garden Homes Fire Protection District are within about four-tenths of a mile. It holds a rating of 4.60 from customers. With Simonis cloth on the tables, BCA instructors on hand, and a schedule that runs every day of the year, Red Shoes Billiards has built a reputation as one of the more serious pocket billiards rooms in the Alsip area.
