Aloha Bangles is a family business, locally owned and operated from a home studio in Kailua on the island of Oahu. The company was founded in 2010 after the owner began collecting marine plastic debris during daily beach walks. The owner initially crafted earrings from these brightly colored pieces of ocean micro plastic. The business has since expanded its offerings to include fine metals such as 14k gold and sterling silver, as well as luxurious Tahitian pearls. While the business no longer uses micro plastic in its jewelry, the owners continue to collect trash and ocean plastics from the shore. The showroom is situated in Unit C, down a long paved driveway between a two-story house and a white fence. Custom orders have an approximate processing time of three weeks.

The business is located on North Kainalu Drive, about a quarter mile from North Kalāheo Avenue and less than half a mile from Kailua Beach.
